You should plan at least 1,5 hrs   to really enjoy your visit to the Old City of Heidelberg. Walking tours take in the most important monuments, Church of the Holy Spirit, Market Square, The Old Bridge, Friedrich Ebert Memorial, Jesuit Church, Student Prison and University Square.

A visit to romantic Heidelberg Castle also takes about 1,5 hrs. During the tour you will explore the gardens and the court yard with me. You will see the world’s largest wine vat and enjoy a spectacular view of the city and the Rhine Plain.

Other places of interest include Philosopher’s Walk, Heidelberg Thingstätte, a big amphitheatre, built during the Third Reich on the top of the Holy Mountain.
